I am a former professor of psychology and had the privilege of working under Dr. Richard Bootzin and Dr. Mary Carskadon. I don’t expect you to be familiar with these names, but if you look them up, you’ll discover that they are pioneers in sleep disorder research and treatment.
I’ve taught an entire semester’s worth of sleep courses to university students, and I’ve even trained doctors on how to deliver state of the art insomnia therapy.
